Are you certain it's coming from the sway bar bushings tho? I don't remember my stock ones ever making any noise....could also grease them more frequently which should help, but every ride does seem a bit excessive

 

Simplest solution I found was to add grease zerk to front of bushing casting. Easy acess and grease daily. Keep can of liquid lube for the long or wet rides. Also replace factory bushings every 500 miles to minimize slop.

 

I am having trouble finding replacement sway bar bushing for my turbo s, front and rear. Where are you guys getting them from?

 

I get them from the dealer. Not very expensive. You have to order two halves per side, so 4 for the rear. I don't have the front on anymore.

 

Wrap the sway bar with Teflon tape before you install sway bar halves, requires a lot less greasing .

I have to grease mine almost every ride. I've found a little shot of penetrating oil actual seems to work better than just grease. I do this the night before the ride and it really took the squeak out. After finding the penetrating oil trick, I grease about every 4 or 5 rides.

Some Polaris engineer is mocking us daily with that one.

 

The problem I have is that they get dirt and crud in them and will not take grease. The grease squirts out between the bushing and the frame. It should flow around the bushing in the little channel, but it does not work for me. I hate the setup. I take mine off every 2 rides and wipe green grease on the inside. Such a pain.

I liked the post above about teflon tape, and I was just thinking about putting a new set of bushings on and using teflon liquid spray dry lube to see if it would work better??

 

Good idea about the Teflon tape? How many wraps of that is enough?

 

3 or 4 with new bushings , a few more on old / worn bushings .
