I have a 2016 900 Trail. I added an emergency brake, the brake bracket mounts to I assume the power steering motor. After install I saw a puddle under that power steering motor. Do I need to add fluid? If so where.
Any info. Would be helpful thank you.
Here is a pick and link to show the install.

My guess,
Blue Loctite

Well yes there is blue loctite, lol. I loosened the bolts, then was unable to complete the job for a couple of days. When I returned there was an oil looking residue I was concerned and then completed the install, using loctite and dripping some. I asked a few local friends they did not know what it could be. So I decided to ask this group of knowledgeable RZR experts. If I need to add fluid similar to what is in my car, I will. If I don't need to worry about it, I need to know that as well.

Looking at that pic you posted again, I assume you were talking about that large dark spot not the blue. If so, to me it looks like it has been there a while from the dirt on it & it also looks to be worn off some from your shoes. My questions is, did you just get this RZR ?

OP, you mentioned that you are new to RZRs, but I’m guessing you might also be new to forums?

you’ll get some sarcasm along with the information. And Offroad forums often have a bit more sarcasm than others

Take everything with a grain of salt and you will eventually learn how to separate good information from bad information and from good-natured ribbing.

(I, too am new to the RZR world…but not to hobby forums.)
