Silicone on the inner hubs or replace them. The updated hub has rubber sealing cups. Got 2k miles out of the stock hubs before I siliconed them. Have 5k+ miles on a set of the updated hubs no issue.

 

what silicone did you use?? i tried the blue silicone and it started leaking about 50mi. later...what about yamabond or something like that?? who has the updated hubs?? polaris?

 

I used ultra grey. Blast it out really good with brake clean then compressed air first.

 

use it on both sides of the cups or just the splined inside??

Yes, I think it's worth upgrading vs the bandaid silicone fix on the original hubs.

 

bullitt...did you get your hubs from a polaris dealer....mine seems oblivious...

another polaris dealer had them in stock...picked them up and will be wrenching this weekend...thanks for all the help!!

 

ok...update...new hubs installed...no problems...hope the new rubber seal idea works...2 local polaris dealers new nothing about them...new output hub polaris part number...3236351....basically their the hubs used in the 2018-2019 xp turbo.....they come with skf bearings. .....p.s......thanks bullitt427
