Not sure what to say the system seems flawed in some way, some are getting them fixed out of warranty then some are not is their some sort of communication problem or a favoritism problem, only choices I see are to continue to try and get them to warranty the known problem or seek out your consumer protection options or hire a lawyer, its not a inexpensive part or repair, its obvious to everybody their is a real problem with many units, the owners did not create the problem, a design change was made and it was either not tested properly or their quality controls was not tight enough so now were seeing a bunch of premature failures.
One thing to keep in mind is the dealer your having submit it to Polaris for repair, I was talking to one Polaris dealer service manager and in the conversation on warranty repairs and dealing with the tech department at Polaris he said if you piss off the tech guys at Polaris he has seen 2 things happen ONE is they start denying warranty claims they use to allow, TWO when you call Polaris for help after you have pissed them off you automatically spend 30 minutes on hold before they will help you then the help is not very good, its almost as if your on a black ball list, I was shocked to hear about the hatred between the dealers and the factory, I have witness this at more than one dealer, the feelings at 4 dealers I have talked to so far is the same.
Spend a day go talk to dealers, go to the parts counter chat with the service manager and the mechanics you will learn way more than you might ever think about the Polaris system.
Anybody keeping count on how many transmission failures?
Good luck hopefully they will do the right thing and make the repair.
