2014 XP 1000,
< 40 hrs and the 0-520344/17 came up about 20 miles into a ride. There was no power loss, idle issues, or any "rich" smelling exhaust. during the 20 minute ride back, the chk engine light went out, and has been intermittent ever since while riding, but always shows during the pre-start sequence while the fuel pressure is pumping up. I tried to clear the check engine light by disconnecting the battery for several minutes, then re-connecting and turning the ignition on (not starting). The Chk engine light stayed on after fuel was pressurized and all remaining lights had been extinguished. I measured the fuel pressure during the pre-start cycle and it pumped up to 57 or 58 then leaked back to a little over 50 just befor staring. Fuel pressure while running was 62 psi. O2 sensor heater continuity was good and supply harness to it measured 14 volts when running. The O2 sensor wiring measured "out of range low" and open, but it could be that the sensor is a capacitance sensor (unknown to me). Literature indicated that there is no static tests that can be run on the sensor itself so any additional tips or static tests that I can perform with a good quality multimeter is appreciated.
Best Regards,
Steve
