So step 1 done. I plan to paint the floor with epoxy. Anyone have recommendations on a concrete expansion joint filler that is paintable and long lasting?
Garageflooringllc.com I had about $800 in materials to do my 1200sqft shop. Stuff worked great I avid etched it and coated it about 2 weeks after it was poured per my concrete guys recommendation. This stuff worked great and haven’t had a single issue with it flaking or pealing except where I’ve hit it with a plasma cutter. For reference I did 2 coats of epoxy and a single coat of clear poly.

Progress: Plumbing roughed-in, lift station installed, and slab poured for the mech / bathroom. Poured a runner slab for the base rails of lean-to to sit on. Retaining wall 95% done. Drainage system installed all the way around the slab. Leveled, crush and run spread and topped with #57 stone. Most of the trees cleared out. One big pine I was going to leave but I think I've have a professional cut it down. Glad I have a tractor with a front end loader because I'm too old for this manual labor crap 🤷‍♂️

Still need to cover the back slope with fabric and large rip rap rock. Building is scheduled for the week of the 21st. Headed to Windrock on the 25th for a week for some much needed riding time. We'll see how it goes but I have a feeling the building folks are going to interrupt my vacation

Yeah, just gonna go ride some trails for a week. Yep. You say that so nonchalantly. You gotta know how jealous we are. I gotta squeeze in a day or two here and there. I would love to have that kinda time to ride.

Lucky.

We've been doing a July 4th ride at Brimstone or Windrock for almost a decade now. Started as a family event but has grown over the years.

I've been there but finally after a lot of hard work for decades I'm at a point where I can do pretty much as I please. Last year the wifey and I took 3 months and went out west riding. Great employees are they key (y)

Sadly, the wife and I are the only employees.
You can no longer say good help is hard to find.

Any help is hard to find. Good help is nonexistent at this point.

Pretty much everyone is hiring around here. And every business that is non-fast food is offering $20/hr and up, with huge sign on bonuses and still can’t get help.
