I have a Xprite chase light how should I power it, if I just connect it to the battery the light on the switch doesn't turn off. Should I wire it to the acc?

change the switch out to a rocker style switch so it can mount on the dash by the lights and 4 wheel drive switch. still connected to the battery but nothing on the switch lights up when the car is off. if you want the lights on the switch to light up when its not inuse you can run a separate single wire from the rocker switch to the ACC post on the bus bar so the lights on the switch only light up when the car is on.
