I'd mic the belt to make sure the diameter is the same...

X2 and I only use OEM belts..it's normal..

 

All the belts I ever used on my Superlite looked like that. Use it.

 

Ran out to the shop and checked my new spare looks just like yours, also looked at my wifes spare for her 800 rzrs same way must be the way they are made, i am going to run mine mike

 

The last procedure in the belt-fabrication process is to grind the bevels (the parts that mate-up to the faces of the clutch-sheaves). On your belt, they, apparently, under-ground the belt by a few thousandths at a couple of points. I wouldn't worry about it, especially if the opposite face is showing plenty of cord at those points. My two-bits......

What brand is it?

 

THere are two different part #'s....one for 2011 & one for 2012

 

The old 2011 belt part number isn't available to order any longer(yes some could be out on the shelves)..it was superseded by the "2012" belt number..Supposedly only difference is compound..2012 belt being softer..

 

What are the part numbers for each version of the Polaris OEM belts?

 

3211142 Old 2011 part number, 3211148 is the " new belt".

 

Has anybody found a good belt for less than 200.00 bucks? I used to get them for my snowmobils for 50.00

im using the dayco belts on my 900xp, have had no problems with them and buy them at my local autozone, they do have to order them but they come in the next day.
