Why couldnt you tap into 1 of the vaccum line that go to the IAC valve and set ur idle psi at around 30 to 35 psi ? it seems to me the regulater would still raise the pressure as boost is applied ? ?
It would still raise pressure under boost..as long as the source sees boost pressure. You don't want to set the pressure too low though as the pressure is needed for atomization / spray pattern. I'd ask Rayce what he thinks..I've ran the regs to vacuum on 800's with success and I've talked to him about it..haven't done an XP yet though.

I tried tapping into vacuum for the RR regulator. Due to the fact that you can only draw vacuum from 1 cylinder (without screwing up IAC valve function) the vacuum is very eratic. It bounces all over the place, therefore not a practical solution. The FP just isnt as consistant as hooking to boost only. I could see this working on an 800 because of only 1 throttle body.

If you tapped into one IAC line how would running a Y to both screw up the IAC function? I'm not convinced this will solve y'alls problems BTW..I've just done it this to help the rich idle.

I guess Im not possitive that it will ? Considering that there is a port on the IAC for each throttle body, I figured the ECM controlled each cylinder independantly for optimum Idle Air Control ? ? Kinda makes sense why there is 2 plungers on the IAC valve instead of just 1 T'ed together ?

I don't think it's quite that complicated..there are 2 outlet ports one valve AFAIK..Id be highly suprised if it opens and closes a valve for each cylinder on the intake stroke..that would be a waste of technology and money that would be better spent on making it a MAF style EFI system.

I put T's in one line going IAC to get vacuum/boost for fuel regulator/Aero Commander and BOV and don't have any problem. IAC just open/close both port on same time, not each one separately.

Rayce explaind to me that a few 900 xp's were having issues withe the ecm & fuel controler compatability. He has a machine at his shop with the same issue and finally got it corrected by reprogramming the pro-logic. Thats all the details I know. I hope it works !
