The two that I considered were Extreme Metal Products MR-10 Lexan
and the Kolpin tilt out windshields...

I have the EMP with just a few light scratches from cleaning, very nice.

MR-10 Lexan is the bomb. I had the Kolpin Fold out windshield and I didnt scratch it at all and ran it through a lot of brush.

That said, if you have a really scratched windshield I highly reccomend Novus plastic scratch remover... I use it once a year on my cab doors (which get a lot worse than the windshield) and they come back almost completely clear again. The stuff is amazing.

 

don't quote me but check with PJ's performane they have a glass one and it was500$ range really nice window

 

I have the Polaris flip-up windshield. It has 3 positions, closed, open about 2" at bottom and full open. I really like it, but I don't ride in any situations that would scratch it so I couldn't say how well it would hold up for you.

 

i have the popo flip up its ok some times but when it open all the way you cant see up thru it going down hill , kinda sucks , it needs to flip down too . make sure its made of the good stuff MR-10 coated on both sides LIKE EMP MAKES ! AR-15 is caoted on one side only

 

The very best windshield I have found is a glass flip down windshield made by RYFAB.COM in Utah.

 

I looked at this windshield. Havent heard much about this company. I definitely like the design just because it is glass, no plastic to deal with. I wonder how much it would cost to ship it to WV though.

 

I have an EMP windshield. It's the best we've had thus far. Much more durable than the Polaris one.

 

I have the Kolpin full tilting and really like it. I have cleaned it several times and don't notice any scratches like you get with cheap lexan.

 

Polaris Flip-Up, no scratches in 2300 miles of trail riding with trees and brush.

Would buy it all over again If I needed to.
