I found a new take out 1000 motor from a guy in Oklahoma city after they removed it for a Z1 motor swap. I would do some searches on this site about the Z1 swaps and contact the shops that do it to see if they have one or know someone. Also you can do a nationwide search on craigslist that might be worth a try. I asked around for awhile and got one with 60 miles for $3500 and it came with everything needed to install in my Xp900. I love it.

Check with hawk and pace for take outs as stated above from z1 conversion. Pace some times has them with basically zero hours on them
