I have noticed that my wives Rzr and mine have the AWD switch opposite of each other. That is to say that one of ours is upside down. So I stopped at dealership the other day to get some pre-mix for Banshee. Checked a couple of Rzrs on the floor. They also had the switches right side up and upside down. I know that this a switch and that its orientation is not truly important. But imagine if cars or motorcycles costing roughly 14 or 15 grand had different switch orientations. And I have had to fix many little things also. Where the hell does Polaris assemble Rzrs!!

Go purchuse a 170 rzr sold at a dealer with American flag above the door and a huge sign saying American Made ATV's. A price tag of at least $3,500 and they do not even tell ya it is a chinese pice of chit. The 170's should say made in china because it is. I tipped it over to see if it said made in china on the bottom like a hot wheel but it does not. You can look at it and tell it is a chinese knock off but kids loved the look of it so I bought anyway.

I was taking my seatbelts off saturday so I could install the harnesses and noticed that the bolt holding the upper seatbelt strap had a locknut on the passenger side and a regular nut on the drivers side. Then I took my skid plate off and found the other locknut just floating around down there. I guess the worker dropped it and just reached for the closest nut that would thread on there.

The full size machines are still assembled in MN and Iowa. The Mexico thing won't start to really happen for another 6-12 months. Then those machines are supposed to service the southern US and other countries. They've invested big $$ in their existing plants to be able to build more here in the US, so not everything will be from Mexico. Us WI people will still be getting the "Good o'l USA" stuff.

The sad thing is that once POPO gets everything up and running in Mexico quality control will most likely improve. They will not have to deal with union worker BS anymore.

The point being.... A factory worker in Mexico is thankful for there job and does the best they can so they can keep it. Where as an American Factory worker (mostly union) just b!tches and complains about their job and does everything they can to sluff off while waiting for there next coffee or lunch break.

Mexico has union labor too do a little research Mexico’s auto workers agree to further cuts to remain competitive

Mexican autoworkers' wages driven further south | The San Diego Union-Tribune

How you like that 1.50 per hr auto workers lmao rather than have China raise its standard of living Mexico is lowering its standard of living to match them that should really make Mexico boom :rofl3: cost of living must really be cheap in Mexico when someone can work for 1.50 per hr..

We need to make use some of the convect labor this country has laying around.

Sadly, 178,000 miles ago my Avalanche was built in Mexico and so far a leaky water pump gasket, a fuel pump and a couple of headlight bulbs is all that has gone wrong with it. Still running strong and smooth as the day I bought it. Too bad Americans couldn't keep the Avalanche here in the US.

Then the Unions go on strike...its a no win. The Union about put me out of business years ago when I owned an autoparts store. Come in telling my minimum wage high school kids they can get $25 per hour because they turn brake drums for me. Here kid sign right on the dotted line....then I get this letter from the Union saying my employees want to be in the Union, do I want to see the signatures? Good thing I got legal help before I had said yes...because if I had...bam...your Union...no warnings....very deceptive and unethical practices. Needless to say I won out and my employees saw the light and voted them down 9 to 2. So yeah...I hate Unions and what they have done to this country. My brother wasn't so lucky. They unionized him in Butte and made all these promises that the union shops would support him...yeah right...a couple of years later he had to close up as he couldn't afford to pay union salaries and still be competitive and put food on his table.
The only way this country has a chance is if the Unions go bye bye.
People need to be educated about them and the damage they have done to this country.
OK so I've rambled enough! Lets go ride!

Wow that is a amazing story on how some high school kids outsmarted a established business owner and run him out of business before he knew it, shame they had it so well they felt the need to unionize the shop, how can I contact the workers and hear their side of the story?

Amazing the union work force in this country is only about 11% but when you read about unions its like they control 99%

I'm non-union but I can thank the unions for the standards that keep my job relatively safe in an inherently dangerous type of work. I also thank them for raising the standard of living so I can take home a wage adequate to own a home & feed my kids. I don't want to see a return to working conditions and wages from the '30s when workers were considered disposable.

You guys want to blame unions for all the outsourcing that's going on but when was the last time you saw the retail price of something drop when the production got moved out? How about never. The problem is corporate greed and the blame lies in the board room, not the union hall. Walmart is a popular target for criticism of cheap foreign goods but Walmart used to proudly display Made in the USA signs all over. Under new management since the old man died almost everything is now from China but the prices are the same.

These Rzrs we own are built by American union workers but will the price drop when the work goes to Mexico? Nope. Polaris profits will increase and as long as the profits increase faster than the additional warranty claims, they win.

I agree with Snick on that one......Unions only make things worse, Haters need not apply!

before we had unions, we had 7 day work weeks, no vacations, no health coverage, 18 hour days, and massive safety problems.

Rather than complain about union benefits, why not ask why we dont ALL have those benefits ? If you ship jobs overseas, then dont expect us to buy the products.. but we do.. and that's the rub. They know were chumps.

So long Middle Class. Been nice to know you.

You forgot a few things...
You like weekends?
You like holidays?
You like vacations?
You like over time pay?
You like the 40 hr work week?
You like the retirement whilst your still alive?
You like health insurance?

A few things that are products of organized labor that even the non union workers now benefit from.

Unions were just a reaction to a problem created by their employers, this country was born non union, once business owners were stripped of their legal slaves then their was a need for unions, this is all documented and verifiable in about any American history book.

Some place on this planet they are all non union and someone here can show you how much better off that non union community has it.

Unions were a good idea, then like anything else, people at the top realized they could retire on the backs of ordinary hard working people! Unions are so corrupt, shipyard here in Maine (BIW) is a perfect example of stupidity! I will stop now!!!! Unions do help, but at this point they only care about union, not the people that pay dues, and punch the clock! Did I say I would stop?? World is sooo fucked up!!

Unions and union wages are nothing but a drop in the bucket in this country's economy now. Not even anything to worry about and or consider. Union jobs in the private sector are now less than 9%. Yes some unions have corruption and some don't. Unions didn't loose jobs in this country. Wall Street did !!!!!!!

Watch the DVD "Inside JOB" and it tells in great detail how we got where we are at today and who is responcible. Nothing to do with Unions, ALL TO DO WITH OUR WALL STREET GOVERNMENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it's not just in th US !!!!

Like everything else--FOLLOW THE MONEY!

I don't have any great love for the unions but I recognize their place in history and know it's better than the alternative path that could have been taken.

But hey no problem--believe what the media spoon-feeds you every day (media = some of the largest richest corporations in the world). I'm sure those moguls really do report the truth and have YOUR best interests in mind. Have another bowl full of Hope & Change. Don't mind the maggots.

As a union electrician I have made a good wage health insurance and good retirement, work on safe jobsite with qualified people. I will agree not all is good.

Those off you that hate the Unions so much what do you do for a living?

If you are a business owner, why would you want to pay employees anymore than you have to. More money for you, probably why you opened your business to make money.

or you want to bitch about something you don't have.

The unions have been holding California by the balls and lining the pockets of our pathetic politicians........if I was smart, I would let my private business go under and get a government job.......our poor small business owners are going under, but the freakin unions are protecting a lot of people at the expense of the tax payers here. Now we're about to get really screwed up the ahole by Sacarmento with the addition of County income taxes if the bonehead demorcrats get their way...sheesh

I'm a union ups driver, we bust our butts out there! EVERYTHING we do is timed. (example: we have 7 seconds from when we stop the truck to grab the package and be out the door, and three-four seconds when we get back in to be moving again we are also some of the safest drivers in the country due to our extensive training and testing that we are continually put through. I find it very offensive to generalize all union workers and call everyone lazy or dumb. All the police around here are in the same union too.....guess they're lazy too....right?

Who said all?

Union or non Union there are always people who are EXCELLENT and then those who are there just to work the system and get away with whatever they can. I have had a lot of jobs over the years, I am old, but every place I have ever worked there has always been the majority of people work as hard as they can and do the best job they can but a few who just hate everyone and every thing and work harder to get out of their work than just doing it in the first place.
