Please take the turbo poll and tell us what you are running and why you are using that turbo. Only vote if you have a turbo now.

I have a Packard kit on my xp900. Why? Found it used and the amount saved allowed me to do all the engine upgrades at same time. That being said, I wouldn't buy a Packard kit new. I have changed and custom built the entire system, only thing that is Packard is the intercooler and turbo itself. They use a lot of low quality less expensive parts to maximize profit. Once the turbo goes bad it will be upgraded as well.

Running 12psi on 91 octane. Tuned by KMS for knock, boost, timing, etc to run 12psi with low compression on pump fuel.

Packard Performance turbo on my big bore/stroker 800 (945cc) at 17psi. They built the motor too. Fenominal customer service and price brought me to them. No complaints what so ever.

Had a MCX turbo on my 2008 800. I ran with 11 pounds of boost on 91 octane. I did a lot of dunning and had no problems. Had over 6,500 miles on the turbo (mostly dune miles) before I sold it. The 800 had no crank work and I ran it hard. I now have a 2012 Quick Silver 900 XP and it has a MCX turbo high boost. I am running 11 pounds of boost on 91 octane and have 180 horses. No major motor work only the Polaris high performance cam, springs and valves. This is my second season out in Dumont with the 900 XP and lov'in it.

I had a Packard kit and it was a P.O.S. Sold it to a forum member on here and he had the same luck out of it that I had. Went to K&T and couldn't be happier with their kit. Fit perfect and customer service was great. Even got a phone call back from them at 8:00 at night on a Saturday to help me with a tuning problem. Wouldn't buy any other kit.

Running a K&T and it is really an excellent turbo system. I owned MCX first and liked the power but the fit and finish on the K&T is in a class of its own. Super clean. Everything routed nice a neat and accessable.Plus I can boost to over 20lbs with this setup which I could not do on the MCX I had. The only thing thats common is they run rich out of the box usually. You need to lean them out. Better to be on the rich side and work your way back than the other way....KABOOM...lol

Well I have had a couple kits. Bought Packard new had alot of issues. Had a used Silber kit bought from a firum member worked very well. Not veru flashy but got the job done a Justin is a great guy to talk to. Curintly running a custom built setup based off of Silber. It has a precission 4828b turbo Alumawerks airbox NO intercooler(blasphime I know) intake temps in the 150° area at 15lbs of boost. Working perfect. Biggest thing about the turbo kits avalible is be honest with yourself. What do you want? Top of the line to me is k&t. Fast? All of them with a proper tune. Whare will you ride? Sand only go top of the line. Woods? Find one that fits under the bed(Silber aerocharger) why? Because intercoolers make GREAT rock catchers and open eliment airfilters dont breath well when covered in mud. I ride little of everything so I keep mine tucked under the bed and use a sealed box. 1year later no problems.:D

TSI turbo kit running 14 Psi. The original price from Alba allowed me to get the turbo kit, Team wide ratio clutch, CP Pistons and gauges all in for $4100. It also gave me enough wiggle room for a P&W crank and overhaul kit from swingarm1.

Aerocharger on my 2012 800s. No intercooler instead using sno-performance meth injection. PA is rocks and mud and I think an exposed rad would be toast sooner or later. Engine is stock and running lower boost at 10lbs. Fuel I am using is from local airport 105LL low lead. I think the boost is low enough and along with the 105LL and Meth Inj I should be ok w stock engine.

The Aerocharger with self-contained lubrication is a very clean setup, all under the deck. Install was straightforward and instructions were great including the meth inj, pump, and JJ Crank/clutch bracing. Any assistance I needed the fellas in KS were a phone call away.

Custom GT28. Home built system with tial external gate and tial Q bov. Air to air on e85 with meth injection. I tried a Comp turbo but it was a POS and luckily i got a full refund. My system makes pretty decent hp numbers at only 15psi. Really gotta give credit to Sparky for his tuning via map pressure posts its really changed my cars driveability.

running a T3 super 60 turbonetics rated for a max of 325hp. excellent for the razor IMHO. exceptionally large exhaust housing to expel gasses, lower egt's, quick spool.

oil cooled only keeps plumbing to a minimum. Large air to air intercooler fan cooled, compgate 40 wastegate and just like holeshot running the corn! (e85).

kudos to Holeshot for giving Credit to Sparky. He is a Huge asset to the RZR forum.

Ok craigstumph.
You got to go for a ride in my K&T turbo 1000. What is your honest opinion?
I'm looking to hold to your word on a great deal on some 4pt.harness's .
Is like to know what you carry for me to choose from. Do you carry the DJ racing harness?

K&T does a great job keeping the clean look with their turbo system and I liked it. The car had enough power with the modest 8 psi boost that it would lift the front under power. I watched the race between you and the turbo Can Am Maverick. He got the hole shot, but you wasted him after about 100'. Your clutching is off a bit because your car was only hitting about 7500 rpm when the clutch engaged. Lighten up your clutch weights to improve the hole shot and you take the Maverick off the line as well as top end. I would try for 8000 rpm or more, but consult with K&T on this. I have my car at about 8400 rpm.

I also rode in the Can Am and it seemed to fall off on top end. I think this was because of the small sized turbo on the Can Am. The clutching was spot on with the Can Am.

I have PRP products and will get you a deal on some 4 point PRP harnesses.

Thanks for the ride.

I have the low boost Packard Performance kit with the intake manifold, the PC5 with O2 sensor and autotune. Started with the E85 set-up but that didn't work so well for me. The E85 is very inconsistent in my part of the country and the range that I lost using E85 was a real challenge for me. I changed the injectors, when back to high octane pump gas, had the Pro Shop in Stanton CA re-tune it and ohhh yeeahhhh it runs great. Smooth predictable power pulls hard up the sand hills and runs very good... I recommend it for the price. I didn't have $5k to pay for a kit.

Ohhh yeah and 8 PSI of boost is putting right at 103 HP to the rear wheels...

That would be at the wheels, around the 140 hp mark at the crank.
