What tires do you run?

When it comes time to buy tires I'm not sure if I'm going back with bighorns. Just gonna see what everyone was running and what you liked or disliked. Would also like to run a 28" radial on stock 12" wheels......no luck so far. No sense in buying 14" wheels......just gonna get rock rashed!

discount tire has some raceline tires that seem to be a good buy for trail tires, but in a
12" wheel the biggest they go is 27".
My big horns seem fine, I just wish they were bigger. If I knew I wouldn't tear them up, I would run my outlaw radials on more trails. They are 28's and I really like them.

I just switched to 28" mongrel on a 14" sti beadlock. The ride is great. I did slash a sidewall the first trip but I did that with bighorns as well. I do have a small ripple in the side wall that I will let play out. I ordered my setup from Rocky Mountain (they came mounted) Slight rubbing when turning and compressed situations. I have xp4 900. They best part are the bead locks, I can change my own tires now with a cheap bead breaker from harbor freight.

Like I say I don't really wanna spend $400 for wheels to get 1" taller tire ya know. I may just replace my bighorns with the 27" version when mine are toast.

I understand, another reason that I purchased the mongrel was, it is a speed rated tire and dot approved. Which in ARIZONA completes all the highway street legal stuff. It comes in handy when migrating between trail heads.

27" roctane XD on 14" battles. Love them. Rock crawl and mostly tight trails.

Had 28" Zillas and know a bunch of people that run them and at $600 or so a set of 4 it's not bad price either.
I prefer my 29.5 outlaws but I also do mostly trail/mud and at $1250 for the set it hurts the wallet more.

Pitbull Growlers 27.5" x 9" x r12" all around. I ride mixed trail, fast open fire roads, rock crawl and play in some mud, seems they do everything very well. Was going to try them in the snow but wrote off my rzr before I could. I bought it back tho and I now have all the parts and should be back together before it melts away.

Yeah there are great, the size is awesome here are a few pics compared to my stock 25", and there is no weight on the 25's

Some of the reasons I went with the pitbulls was that they have very strong sidewalls, run true to size or slightly larger, they will hold up my RZR even at 0psi, do well in most situations as well as snow. And I got them for a pretty good price, and when it comes to tires you normally get what you pay for!
