What Soundbar or System Should I Get? Not Trying to Break the Bank

Alright y'all,

So, I have finished my dual battery install. I done it all myself without buying one of the fancy kits complete with an AuxBeam switch system. We currently have a Wetsounds soundbar that I play all my audio on but the previous owner of my 17 Rzr 900s completely butchered the wires and messed up the Aux Output cable which leads me to not be able to use my POD speakers without moving the cable in a specific direction and hoping it stays, so I am looking to replace it.

There are so many options out there and I am looking for the best recommendations without absolutely breaking the bank (example of breaking the bank is full MTX system). I have been looking into DS18's new waterproof audio system that comes with 4 Pods, receiver, and amplifier but I wanted to see everyone's inputs first on what they have in their Rzrs. We all know while riding everything is loud, but the passenger princess has to have her tunes, so we want something good.

I am just looking for recommendations here so throw any and all suggestions at me with input on why you like it. I do like bass so anything with a little bass over all treble is a plus, but anything is better than nothing.

Ever thought about getting an intercom system and Bluetooth your music directly to your helmet so no one but you has to listen to your music

I have this in the Pro R...better than the SSV works roof system, not as good as something like Rockfort Fosgate though....but it does good.

something I don't understand.....if I am out in the middle of the mountains....on a trail where ever....with my buddy 100-500 yards ahead of me, and 100-500 yards behind me....and I'm blasting my stereo......WHO else is listening to my music? If someone drives by me in the same situation and has his stereo blasting, and I have to suffer through it for less than a minute....who cares?

to me that is part of the enjoyment of four wheeling....no karen's anywhere to tell me what to do....they are my ears and were destroyed in the Marines anyway.

I have been running mountain trails for over 15 years and never, never ever was in a situation where someone was constantly near me blasting music....never.
I hate headphones and full helmets. I get headaches if I wear them. If my head starts getting hot, I get severe headaches. There are enough people with the same issue with helmets also.

So when I drive by...get your tissues and pacifiers out, and put your ear plugs in for 30 seconds...lol

IDK...maybe it's different where you ride....Maybe Glamis? ...IDK

OK....done with my rant for the day!!...Hope Joe don't kick me off the forum...lol

Yeahhhh

I have a Noam 4 speaker setup, no sub, id buy it again if need be.

I rarely ever have it turned up all the way, it gets way loud, plenty loud for a sxs. I'm probably going to invest in the sub this year just for the heck of it.

It wasn't cheap by any means but it seems to be a fantastic setup.

I have looked at the NOAM systems. Very much considered it for sure! They have one package you can purchase that isn't super expensive either.

you sound like you know what you are doing wiring wise. but here is the mistake i made so maybe you dont do the same. i got the MTX thunder system. one of the site sponsors had a flash sale of 10% off and then if you signed up for their email it was another 10% off. rather than buy the system as a whole i priced it out and it was cheaper to get the pieces separate... here is where my mistake was. when you get the system as a whole it comes with all the wiring done for you so its plug and play. the only way to get those wiring harnesses is to buy the system as a whole. i dont know anything about wiring and now its going to cost me more to get the other wires and have someone hook it up the right way. i would of saved money just buying the system as a whole. i tried to be cheap and save some money and i messed up.
