The only reason I ask is to see if there is an issue?

I have a 19 xp1000, and not that I need to top speed runs but mine will hit about 62 and thats about it. the top end seems pretty lazy on the top end. Again, if thats normal i'm fine with it but if its normal for it to go faster then there might be a problem

No windshield, I do have a roof but it was like this before the roof. I do have the Polaris XXL front fenders.

I also have a 19 xp1k but I have not opened it up yet due to breaking it in and I actually put a new quite thick belt hunterworks on it so I will probaly loose some speed if I understand todd rite but I'm ok with that I'm not in a race lol I am a cruise around and hit a couple hills and rocks guy.

My 2017 1000S will do 71 mph. Hits 55 fast but kind of makes more noise after that. After 50mph on dirt in rear-wheel drive the front end starts to wander, the downside of being twitchy good handling at slower speeds. On pavement, I don't notice the twitchiness at speed.

Will say this: some Turbo type RZR hit the Redbull jump in the Ojibwe Rally faster than any car yesterday up here in North Central Minnesota.

Another member asked the same thing a day or two ago about his TRE. I hit 79/80 with my XP last weekend. Was pulling pretty good right up to that speed and I had to lift cause I ran out of road. Never felt the limiter, but it might have been right there. My RZR is all stock tires, clutch, belt, drivetrain, etc. 62 seems to me like there's a problem. My buddy's 800 will do 63. These speeds are all going by the speedometer with stock machines. Another buddy has a '19 S1K and said his hit the limiter at 75mph. When we run fast trails we are going 50-65mph most of the time so I would not be happy with a 62mph top speed.

IIRC, the XP1K's ECU has top speed limited at 83 or 84 mph. I've had mine at 78-79 before taking my foot out of it. Definitely something not right with OP's 62 mph top speed.

If two seater speed limiter set at 80, mine says 78

So does it hit the rev limiter or run out of power?

Todd
Just runs out of power, Its not like it hits a wall at 62, pretty much after 50-55 it's creeping up
Find out what rpm is during this and at least check air filter
Weather was rainy today, so I couldn't try it out, (I will admit I thought about it :devil) Hopefully the rain will stop tomorrow so I can test it out.

I'll check the filter too but I did the first speed run with 15 hours on it and it performed the same as all the other times I tried

Something definitely wrong. Mine pulls pretty hard from 50-70.

'16 XP1K two seater. Stock wheels and tires, gutted cat (stock muffler), slight tune, and some clutch work. 82 on GPS when I lifted, Got to 68-70 quick, fell flat for an instant then started pulling again. This was with a full windshield, roof, and XXL fender fenders. It was fast enough for me. I can't believe what it would feel like going triple digits in one of these like the desert racers can do.

@hunterworks, Rain cleared up and I was able to make a couple runs, I filmed it so you can see.

Before making the runs I warmed up the machine and putted around in low gear.

I didn't stab it from a dead stop, I rolled out with moderate throttle until I approximately 50 and then I stabbed the throttle.
Got to about 62 mph @8200 RPM's but I will admit I ran out of room to safety go that fast

On the way back got on it around 17mph, RPM's got up to 8300 and stayed there, once it hit 62, I was shocked and let out slightly and then got back into it, RPM fell to about 7700 and went up to 8040 and the damn thing went up to 73 and it looked like it was still pulling when I left off.

The only thing I did before doing this was, when I had the belt cover off to take pictures of the belt slap rub marks (different thread I have with Hunterworks) I went ahead and blew out the primary and secondary with compressed air. Was that my problem all along?

Top speed on mt 17 XP Turbo was 102 MPH and that was on GPS. That is with 32 inch tires and tuning, as well as aftermarket clutch. I remember when it was stock my top speed was around 80 mph. My guess is clutching is incorrect currently and that is limiting your speed. My stock Limiter was set at 82 mph on the computer.
