What else do I need for a frame build?

My goal: To greatly improve frame strength/mounting point strength and provide enough support for my new cage in the event of a high speed roll over (60 mph).

My machine: 2011 rzr s w/ factory aluminum skid plate (plus a ton of other stuff not really frame/protection related)

So far I have coming:

DG offroad: Radius XP style cage//rear bumper//roof

UTVINC: frame tube gusset kit UTV INC 09 RZR & RZR-S FRAME TUBE GUSSET KIT

Racer Tech: Weld in gusset kit with stepped washer upgrade//chassis sleeves//2 inch lift//a-pillar brace//front cage mounts//dual rate springs.

Any input/suggestions will be appreciated.

(I do also understand that a 60 MPH off road rollover is quite serious and serious damage/death will result but I would like to improve my chances starting with the weak links.)

I would stay away from the Racer Tech dual rate springs, they will tear up your shock bodies(believe me) And you will not get any help from the guys at racer tech I had the racer tech dual rate springs on mine and they have caused so much damage to my shocks and nobody at racer tech will do a damn thing about it. Those guys suck worst customer service ever!!! my two cents :rm_thumbdown:

OK, this is not the appropriate way to handle an isolated issue with a Vendor. I personally use the RT Dual Rates along with many, many others who have had not a single issue. You say "Believe me", well I'm sorry but when you state that RT will not do a damn thing about it I don't believe you. Everything they sell is Race proven and fielded well in advance of anyone getting their hands on any of their products. If you have an issue with a vendor that's so dire you need post negative comments I suggest you contact a Moderator to help resolve said issue. There's always two sides to a story & we have not only heard only yours but what you've stated comes with no pictures, proof, nothing.... You could/should have handled this properly..... Vendors on RZR Forums.net are not just $$ makers, they love the sport as much if not more than most of us, ride/race with members here. Not to mention sponsor & donate to help fallen riders & racers....

That & your post doesn't help the OP out at all.

Might I suggest that you'd be better off with a set of Makin Trax springs? Just mine, and many others, opinion...............

Cheers

My riding season is over in 3 months roughly and I won't have my machine for another month at least. I would have loved a set of Steve's springs after all I have heard about them but after seeing some of the wait times I don't think I could have waited that long.

The Racer Tech dual rate springs seem to have a healthy number of positive reviews. I will be more than happy to write my own review on Racer Tech's products when I put some miles on them. With all the extra weight on my machine, the idea of not buying springs was not an option. I have added around 200 lbs or so over stock with all my current add-ons and would like to add a couple more things here and there.

I would also like to add that every persons input is appreciated in all areas, thank you for your opinions and feel free to keep the comments coming.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, try to stay reasonable and tactful, thank you again.

Andy, Your response and information in your posts continue to impress me. Respectful, informative and concise.

Matt (OP) it sounds like you've got a good handle on what you need to do. On first read I missed the fact that you mentioned the chassis sleeves..... Those are another key to fixing all of the weak points.
