How much does my Rzr s weigh? I want to know if I can use my 2 place sled trailer to haul it 200 miles. Avereage 2 sleds weigh in about 1200#s, Rzr doesn't weigh more does it?

Dry weight is 1,022lbs according to Polaris. I have hauled an 10' S loaded with goodies on a 2 place sled trailer no problem. And my xp on the same trailer after I sold the S.
I'd load pics but my app keeps crashing when I do. You have to have the Rzr loaded kinda far up on the trailer to keep tongue weight otherwise the trailer bounces around a lot. Oh and loading with ramps makes its easier too instead of driving it up the tilted deck of the trailer.
I now haul my Rzr in an enclosed trailer. Will still use the sled trailer when the roads aren't full of salt and snow and not raining. Hope this helps.

I tried that once and I didn't like it. I liked having the engine towards the center of the trailer above the axle with the front of the Rzr towards the truck. But that's just me. Load it up backwards go pull it down the highway see how you like it then turn it around and see if you like it the other way. Might not make a difference at all. I typically see them facing forward though.

Get some ramps. You need to get it as far forward as you can. Putting it on backwards you are asking for alot problems. It takes just one mistake and you have a rzr into your truck or car. I used one for a year ,then I bought a 3 place sled trailer works great. Don't use the tilt feature if you do not have to. Its ok to put it right to the edge just tie it down good. I used 5 tiedowns 3 in back and 2 in front . I had a cable attached to the back of trailer measured so when tight the front tires would be at the edge. I would load with ramps then just get it up on trailer. Put it in park take the cable and drop it on the trailer ball on my rzr. Then pop it out of park and pull it forward till it stopped by the cable. then put my tie downs on. worked great and I had piece of mind it was going stay putt!!!!!! Good Luck

This is what I did. I align the front tires of your rzr as close as I can with the center of the trailer. Once its on your trailer you will notice the front tires line right up with the tie down area for the snowmobile tie downs. I then took 2 chunks of 6"x6" timber I had laying around, Drilled a hole in the middle of each one, and using a long carriage bolt I attached them into the tie down tracking area. Adjust them to make your rzr as close to the front as possible, and tighten the blocks down. Now when I load, I put my rzr in low, flip on 4x4 and creep up the trailer slowly til I feel it hit the blocks. I then know it is in place. Place it in park, get out, and I tilt the trailer down. Strap it down and your good to go. That's my sled trailer method for my rzr.

The thing I don't like about using a snowmobile trailer is if your tires are not sitting directly over the frame you are sitting on only 1/2" plywood. if your trailer has a few years of use in the winter pulling sleds that road salt eats the wood quick.

I do the same. soak it with oil and put down an extra layer where the tires run on the trailer.
