Has anyone sprayed down their RZR with WD-40? My neighbor swears by it. Said he has done it his whole riding life. Plastic, metal, shocks, electrical and engine. Says it makes everything look new and protects it. Just wanted some input on post clean up products. Thanks

Any light spray lubricant including your lemon pledge or orange glow works good, gives it a nice gloss and things have a tendcy to not stick as well, except fine dust. I have a matted finish on my Rzr so don’t use them, but for most they’re all great options including wd-40, it I’d stick to 99 cent store lemon pledge to keep it cheap.

I believe in the manual it actually states to use Pledge brand to clean the machine or the like. I keep mine garaged as well and wash with auto detergent, dry, then use 303 aerospace UV protectant to keep plastics from fading.
The wd40 is fine if you don’t mind the smell and the residue. Shoot you can use that stuff for everything. Even fishing lures ; )

I will state that I had a sample of an ArmorAll product (which I usually do not waste my time with), it was a soap/wax combo that keeps dirt and mud from sticking and it worked great. My commuter had road grime and dirt buildup while dry, but the first rain that happened washed everything away. I was impressed.

How well did it foam up? I like my washes to foam up really nice and most of the ones I have tried with some type of wax in them just don't.

I have, it works great. You collect more dust but it washes up easier.

I actually like tire foam better. I soak the underneath side of the machine. I wipe it on the upperside black plastic. I use a Turtlewax treatment on painted parts.

Lemon pledge works well, but takes a lot of elbow grease to apply and it would form water spots after washing that caused a lot of elbow grease again. But, the pledge wouldn't collect dust as bad.

Polaris says to use Furniture Polish instead of car wax. I’ve found that is easy to apply, spray on wipe off. If it drys long enough it doesn’t seem to attract any more dust than without.
I’ve thought about trying one of the new non wax products that last up to a year....works great on my vehicles. But it specifically says don’t use on plastic parts. I like the idea of trying WD40 but wouldn’t use it on the decals...maybe just the plastic. Has anyone used WD40 long enough to feel certain that it won’t hurt the decals? It softens any glue so as RS1 stated it would seem like it would be bad for the decal glue.
