Hey guys I need some help working on a friends 2011 razor S 800 it has turned out to be kind of a nightmare so when the key is turned on most of the time, nothing happens sometimes lights on the dash will flash and relays will click very fast when testing voltage I have 12.4 V at key switch and in fuse box when I turn the key switch on it drops to about 4 V on almost all wires except for ones in fuse box that are coming straight from battery does anyone have any input on what I can check or do I have been tracing wires cleaning connections, and cleaning grounds and checking voltages all over this thing for days now and I just don’t understand what is going on. would appreciate any help or any insight anyone has or any suggestions on what to do next thanks

1. Start with a battery that you KNOW is good. Either new or load tested.
2. Starting at the battery, start checking voltage at first connection point. If that is good, go downstream to the next connection.
3. Continue until you get to a point where the voltage is low.
4. Do this process systemattically and you should find the culprit.
5. When asking technical questions on the internet, a good attempt at punctuation and grammar is very helpful for the reader to understand what you are asking.

Internet diagnostics..........unless you know exactly what to describe, and how to describe it, no one knows what exactly what to tell you.
