Vent tube questions

I am just about finished with my snorkel project on my RZR 4. I have 4 vent lines in the rear. I know one is the fuel tank line and I have ran it up seperatly.

Is there any reason I can't join the other three together into one line and run it up?

I know one is from the diff, one is from the trans and I am not really sure where the other one is from.

Two questions here.
You should have 5 vent lines, fuel tank, front diff, rear diff, transmission and transfer case.

There is a hose that runs from the intake to the top of the engine that has a slit in it. The slit is cut at the factory to prevent a blockage during freezing weather. If you don't ride during freezing weather you can replace that hose with one that doesn't have a slit in it. Mine has been slit free for over 3 years with no problems.

Mike is correct on the number of vent lines.

The four at the rear originally were run up under the square frame tube behind the seats and the ends tucked inside the frame tube at the bottom.

If you put them back into the frame tube I think you'll be fine. If you get in water deeper than that...well..everything under the dash will be shorted out!

This is also a good time top put 6 or 8" lengths of "automotive heater hose" over the vent lines where they pass hot surfaces. That way, no more melted vent lines.

The vent line for the front diff is typically run up the right frame tube by the firewall, then formed to a U and tied in place. If you want to move it higher, route it into the storage box under the hood. Again, if that goes under water...you're screwed anyway!!
