I have a 2020 RZR Pro XP. It had a problem and I took it to the local dealership and they said it needed a new turbo. They worked up and estimate to be about $4300 to swap it out. The turbo itself being $2800 and the rest labor etc. I was thinking about just doing the work myself. However, if I have to pay $2800 for a turbo I figure I might as well let them do all the work. Everything is already apart where they had to find the problem. Does anyone recommend a different brand of turbo that is cheaper and just as good? I was looking for someone who has changed one out and how it went, advice, etc. Thanks.

I swapped one and it wasn't that bad, I just had to make myself be patient (because I am not a mechanic). If I recall, I did it in 2 evenings, maybe a couple hours each evening but I was really taking my time and didn't really care how long it took.
I would say it went fairly well because it has been 4 years and over 7000 miles and no issues.
As far as installing an aftermarket, couldn't tell you because it's not something I would consider.
