I have a bone stock 2021 pro-xp sport. I have owned 2 rzr before (2012 800 - 2017 900) and new to these turbo engines. I have read and heard of people talking about the pssssst sound coming from the bov, and also about the turbo boost psi pressure that can be adjusted? I never hear this sound from my engine. My question, is it normal not to hear any sound coming from the bov with a stock engine?

^^^ this is correct. Most of the aftermarket blow off valves are aluminum and have the option to vent to atmosphere. The problem with the stock BOV is that it’s plastic and can warp when exposed to high heat causing it to get stuck open/closed.

the boost psi can be adjusted by loosening the wastegate. If you go on Aftermarket Assassins website and poke around in their “tech blog” you can find how to do that. You would need a tune adjust it otherwise your machine would likely throw an “over boost” code from what I was told.

I know its an old post but I wanted to correct you regarding wastegate adjustments. You're not actually loosening the wastegate. That would decrease/make it easier to open. Adding pre-load (tightening it) to the wastegate spring effectively making it require more pressure to open. You're basically changing the cracking pressure from 4.5-5psi (stock) to 6-7psi. Just hope it give you a better understanding on how it work (y)

Your boost controller manages boost pressure with the ECU. What is on the AA site is to adjust the wastegate crack pressure to work with their tune where they have modified the boost pressure the ECU is calling for among lots of other things. I would not recommend adjusting your waste gate unless you have the necessary AA stage 3 or higher tune and other hard parts.
