OK, I've searched the forum for a complete 450 setup and cant find one. all im seeing are 450's that were once for sale. I started a thread for springs only but I think the shocks were bad. anywho, after finding out my 450 shocks would fit I decided to try them out.
The LTR threads are very thorough. can someone help with the following:

*width of the spacers i should use for the top mount
*width of spacers for the bottom
*Length of the bolts for top
*Length of bolt for the bottom
*how many clicks/turns i should do on the top adjuster
*how many clicks/turns i should do on the bottom adjuster

Before i put them on. how can i tell if my 450 shocks needs servicing or not?theres no use in putting bad ones on the rzr. theres a valve on it. is that were the shop would connect something to it and fill it up?

i measured the clearance on my rzr before removing the OEM shocks and it was about 12". that's good clearance, right?

anywho, i can add picks as i go along so others can look here specifically for 450 TRX conversion

PS. I took the sway bar off. thats why i need different bolts on the bottom.I turned the bar up but have not tied it down yet.

question about the sway bar. im leaving the rear connected i guess. i removed the front. if i jump the RZR will it behave way differently on my landings? i noticed that when you remove the sway bar the wheels drop way further down than they did when i had the bar connected. im assuming the shocks would soak up the impact

so, back from lowes...I put on some washers, bought 2 new bolts and nuts. I didn't have any clearance issues. I was able to mount them where I can adjust them facing the tire. I tried to put the tire on and couldn't. I couldn't figure out why with the same jack I used to take off the tires maxed out would not go high enough to put them back on...duh..the sway bar is no longer in use...smh
I don't know how to check for what many referred to as CV binding. I don't want to tear anything up. I lowered the bike and OMG, I immediately felt the difference. I pushed down on the front the same way as I did with my old shocks and was only able to push down a little. I walked away and minutes later tried and it go stiffer. I cant even really raise the front like I did with the old shocks. also, guess what...I don't hear anymore squeaking squealing..scrunching...nothing..maybe my sway bar played a part in that noise along with the shocks.
I cant wait to try this setup out. my yz125's rear are on the way. I still don't know the settings for each adjust screw on the trx450 shocks. the top one is for rebound???? the bottom is what? for height?

also, im standing at about 13" of clearance now.

order my rear YZ125's last night. I will dial them in based on the vids an threads for the YZ's. as for the trx 450's all I've seen is one guy talking about 7 turns on one ...one thread for the LTR's is 71 pages...crazy. I've pm'd a few to no avail. i'll be grabbing some lowes washers to make up for the space this week and i'll measure the bolt length.
