Replace jug as well is the best way. We did my buddies with this kit. The brand we bought was Niche Runs perfect. We did rebuild head as well that kit was only 100 bucks.

 

Factory cylinder is better cause it's nikasiled but 400 bucks to recoat it I wouldn't do it knowing how good my buddies runs with that kit. He's put 1200 miles on it and it's been flawless.

 

Thank you for your response, I saw that package you listed when I was looking but I didn’t know the quality, so the kit you bought the cylinder is not nikasiled? I agree $400 for replating is nuts, What head kit did you buy?

 

I can't remember but it was just the valves and guides and cleaned the head and did a leak down test. You don't have to rebuild the head but we put it back together and it had sticky valves so we cleaned and rebuilt. Was a kit like this.
