I'm sure it's been covered but I'm new here so excuse me. I have the aluminum wheels on my 570 and like them I'm looking at tires and thinking if 28s after I get it lifted and forward arms on. Can I run 28x10x12 on front wheels

Look at the tire specifications from the tire manufacturer, they will specify the width of the rim that can be used with their tire. One inch wider than stock should be no problem, 2 is iffy, IMHO.

Also, there is a Wheels & Tires subforum here on RZRForums with experts, be good to search there and ask there if you don't find anything.

They will work, you'll just have more sidewall bulge. Because of that bulge, 28" tires are going to be lower than normal; put 9's on the front and you'll get more height.

I've run as wide as 10.5" tires on 6" rims. It's probably not ideal, but it can be done. There's no reason to believe you will lose ride height. Squeezing the tire inwards at the bead will tend to make the tread more convex, more round, higher in the middle so the overall diameter may actually increase. This is a common practice for rock-crawlers who don't want to spend the money on beadlock wheels. It's supposed to help protect the bead, the rim and the sidewall.

Another tid bit: "Can I run" means different things to different people. If you run a lot of road, or relatively mild trail you can get away with a larger tire than the guys who disconnect their sway bars and rock crawl, completely stuffing the tire into the wheel well while turned. Landing jumps puts you in that category as well.

thanx everyone and inhuman for the advice, chance of me jumping it are slim, I do all kinds of riding i would say I do high speed riding the least. My bro has had 28s on his for a while and had good luck, I just found a set of tires that were all 28x10x12 there like a mud style tire 6 ply. The rearson I started this was I wasnt sure if anyone was running a 10" wide tire up front on the stock wheels.

You probably already know this, but I'll say it anyway: claimed tire size can vary by as much as 10%. In other words a 30" tire could really measure 27" tall. Some tires, like Big Horns, will even run a 1/2" tall. So not all 28"s = all other 28"s.
