Looking for a tire in either 29" or 30" (14" wheel) that will do well in mud and sloppy situations, but not beat you to death on the trail. Really trying to find the perfect in between. Still want to be able to do low speed trail riding, but don't want to have to avoid any mud holes.

The 30" Mud Lite XXL seems like the closest I have found for what I am looking for. Thoughts? And I'm open to other suggestions. Just don't want anything quite as aggressive as Outlaws.

Thanks.

I just purchased a set of 30x10x14 mudlites they are very light. I put it on my scale at work the tire weighs 35lbs.

I ran a set of 28" Mudlites on my RZR 900 and they are a light tire! I ride rocks and trails mainly. I punctured them more than I would have liked, and I also feel because of the power of the 900 I wore them faster than I would have liked as well. They did ride pretty smooth, they are really rounded or crowned out at correct riding pressures though. They did pretty well, but I wouldn't run them on anything with more power than a 900. Part of the reason they are so light is because they are really thin and there really isn't a lot of tread blocks on the tire. They are a soft rubber compound. Have you considered Roctanes? They do well in mud and are relatively bullet proof tire, but they are heavier. Good all round tire though. If you are looking for more of a strict mud tire that rode smooth I would probably go with the SATV Intimidators.
