Switch Pros Questions

All,
Considering adding a Switch Pros switch panel toy PXP2 Ultimate and I had a couple of questions. I have reviewed a few installation videos mostly for trucks and keeps and in most instances a separate fuse box was wired into the Switch Pros controller. I don't see where this fuse box is supplied in the package is that correct?

Programmability question I saw that you can program one button so that it can control other buttons but can you program the button to cause the other buttons to strobe as well as On/Off?

There are no fuses or relays needed with the Switch Pro. All the circuits are digital and you can set a trip limit for each switch. Each circuit can be reset if it trips with a button push. Each button can be programmed for on/off, on/off/on, momentary, or flash. I'm not sure I follow you about wanting a button to control other buttons?

The Auxbeam setup is a crappy cheap Chinese knockoff of the switch pro. It still requires the use of fuses and relays.

Thanks. What I meant about a button controlling other buttons. I saw a video that said that you can setup one button to control a group of other buttons. They showed this on the video where they pressed the grill light button and the overhead light bar and pod lights turned on. Now I think about it this might have been a feature with the 12 button version.

Another question about the Switch Pro I have two lights that need two separate inputs:
1. Chase Light: On/Off and a Momentary on to change mode
2. Seizmik Pursuit Night Vision Series Side View Mirrors: On/Off/On

I would prefer to use one button in order to control each light but they it seems like you can only program one button to be Off/On/On . So my question is can I program one button to behave in the manner I described or will I have to use four total button?

Here’s my question, and I think it has been answered in small segments from discussions with other questions about Switch Pros. The question I have is can you wire the Switch Pros ( 8 switch controller) to the Pulse Bar? According to my owners manual (2021 RZR Pro XP4) the Pulse Bar is” 200A ZCASE fuse. Battery Power to Polaris Pulse and 6AWG Cable” (page 162 owners manual).
Also can you use one of the Pulse plugs to wire the Trigger for backlighting?
Thanks.

Solid question. Im wondering the same thing. Did you ever get this figured out? Switch Pros says negative direct to battery terminal, but does the pulse bar suffice? Wanted to connect pos and neg to the pulse bar for the SP.

Also I thought of hooking up the ignition switch (light blue wire) to a plug and also using the pulse bar.
What did you end up doing and hows it working?

I mounted mine on the front firewall just behind the glovebox. The 6’ battery cable just reaches this area. Maybe if I did it again I would mount it behind the back seats off to the drivers side area. I did mount a negative terminal block behind and in the center of the rear seats. You have to run your negative leads from each of your accessories to be grounded.
I found that following the instructions was very easy and clear. Made the wiring a very simple task. I drew out a diagram what I was going to wire to each switch and which color of wire coming from the Switch Pro was going to be used. I went a little further and used a labeler to identify the switch number for each wire so when I was under the dash I knew which wire was for what switch number.

I found another (expensive) switch controller made by SSVWorks Alpha 12
Haven't seen this one. You ain't kiddin' on the price. $920 on sale but I guess it completes with the SwitchPro 12.

I've got the SwitchPro 8 (in a '95 Bronco) and am partial to the billet switch plate and stickers over the the big plastic SSV piece. I know SwitchPro is made in USA. I don't see SSV advertising that. Either way solid state is the way and a lot better that the fused XTC kit in my RZR. I know Auxbeam has stepped up their game too.

Check this thing out...

Acumen 12" rear view mirror

Acumen now makes a rear view mirror with forward camera, digital switches, and tons of features for a comparable price. My only draw back would be trying to hit the right button in the pinch while bouncing down trail might be a pain in the ass.. but overall a really slick setup.

I saw it a high end sand car, and it looked really clean.
