Super ATV s conversion question

I just got done installing the super ATV s conversion on my 2015 rzr trail and I did not get the steering stops they say to install in the instructions. They're clips that go on the steering rack. Was anyone else missing these? Do I need them? What would happen if I drove it without them? Thanks.

Those are mainly to help from breaking the front axle cv joints. They just keep you from turning the wheels so sharp. Just watch what your doing when in awd and you'll be fine.

Possibly, I would contact Superatv and tell them though. Then you will have the choice of running them or not. I prefer not to run them myself, I have to back up to make tight turns enough as it is! But I am always aware not to,turn extremely sharp in awd, especially if backing up.

I built my own kit with "S" A-arms, axles & tie rods, as I wanted to go with Bandit "S 900" shocks.

The only mention of steering stops is for the 2014 & earlier models. No mention on the S or Trail Super ATV high clearance A-arms pages.

Also no mention in the install info for the "S" arms or the "S" kit.

You might give them a call to confirm.

Wow! Sounds like Superatv needs to start double checking their orders before shipping! Brake lines are kinda up there for have to have items!

So I've gotta ask, after upgrading your machine with the S conversion, aftermarket shocks, and tires, do you regret not just starting out with an S model? I've gotta think it would have been cheaper to buy the S, have fox floats, dirt commanders ground clearance and 60 inch stance from factory + maintaining factory or aftermarket warranty?

I've got about $16,400 out the door into mine with aftermarket rims and tires, ssv works stereo, pro armor doors, front and rear windows, etc, etc... So with all that I'm less than the price of a stock rzr 900s. At least at my dealer. I've got no regrets. I don't have the fox shocks though.

From what i've learned here, I'd say I'm ahead. Aside from the project (neighborhood event). It is mostly preemptive!

Nobody likes the stock shocks or A-arms. So, if I'd got the "S" instead of the Trail I'd still need to do the upgrade. I'd have saved on the flares & tie rods (?) but I still got Turf Mode (which I normally use) and EBS.

So with the HD axles and all I'd say I'm maybe $1000 over Trail stock.
