Yep. The secondary spring will also provide belt pinch. Stiffer spring more bite but it will raise rpm as it will take more force to pull the belt through the sheeve. Do you know what helix they have in the secondary? That controlls the driven clutch shift out. Steeper angle(ex 40°) = faster back shift and higher rpm through shift, where shallow(ex60°) will shift faster but lower rpm and backshift. If the spring doesnt fix the shiftout that will be the next pieces to look at. Spring first (cheepest $25) than helix($70) but the spring(pink you got from Darter) should do:D
