Just got a new S 900. Lots of squeaking going on in the rear suspension when going over bumps. Anyone else experience this?

How many miles have you put on it? Mine did the same thing for the first 40ish miles. Like ^ said, I greased everything a couple times and have put it through the usual mud and water. Now at 120 miles and haven't had squeaks the last couple rides. Just grease it and put it through its paces for a few good rides and it should go away. If that doesn't work, just buy some good speakers to drown out the noise!! :)

What Rick said, grease the shock mount bushings. These things are notorious for that infernal squeak.

Super daves makes a bushing kit for the fox shocks, I had them on my 800s, they replace the bushings in the top and bottom of shock. You actually remove the little spherical bearing that always seizes up and causes them to squeak. I just bought a 900s myself and I am about to order those and prolly go ahead and replace all my bushings on the machine while its new. Never had any luck with polaris bushings lasting too long

Before you order, I would call super daves and double check those are the right bushings. I think that kit is actually for the 800 S, I'm not sure if the fox shocks on the new 900s use the same bushing as the kit you sent a like to. I spoke with them tuesday and they said they had bushings for the 900s shocks. They were $79 or $89. He is in the process of trying to complete the full bushing kit for the whole machine right now, he's doing some testing on the rear outter AArm bushings before he offers it for sale.

It also helps to raise the rig off the ground and grease then set back down and hit it again.

I greased all 14 zerk fittings on the machine....did not do the 2 on the drive shaft as that is not the problem. I pulled the shocks off and took out the bushings and greased them really good. But I still have the squeaking in the rear end of the rzr. Any advice would be appreciated as I cant seem to locate the problem. The machine is new.....5 hours on it and not been in any water. Had the squeaking from day one.

Try greasing the bushings in the sway bar. Helped me on both my 900 and 570

^^^^^^^ What he said! Also don't miss the two zerks per side on the rear hub/bearing carriers. Probably have to remove the wheels to get them all.

I grease mine about ever other ride. I kept getting an annoying squeak from the front end. I got pissed off when I couldn't find it. I hit the shock mounts with PB Blaster and I haven't heard that squeak since last riding season lol.

Yep seems to be the most common area

20 total sounds right. At one time I was counting 22 from memory, but was confusing this with my RZR 570.
