i want to have the springs on my rzr s powdercoated a different color and was wondering if they are easy to remove and are the springs different from front to rear. i know i will need to rent a spring compressor from auto parts store.

I don't know about the fox shocks but I have Walker Evans shocks and I was able to take the springs off with out a compressor. Just losen up the preload nuts all the way up and the you may need a friend to help but you can just mash down on the springs enough to get the retainers off, then just pull the springs off!
if your interested in powder coating or changing your springs out its super easy to remove the springs on the rzr s as we had them off in 10 minutes and in the manual it has the factory preload settings and compression damping settings http://docs.extremerzr.com/docs/polarisrangerrzrs800servicemanual09.pdf
