Spark Plugs and IDLE issues!

I just bought a 2013 RZR XP4 900 w/ Jagged X H.O. Kit, they had 74 hours and aprox. 1,500 miles on it... it looks like new. When I bought it I serviced all (front diff, gearcase, engine oil, spark plugs, K&N Air Filter and Double Down Equalizer from DMC).

After some rides in trails (less than 100 miles) sometimes dies on IDLE... always starts fine, but sometimes dies, the IDLE RPM are 1250-1300 RPM... but sometimes start decreasing the RPM and dies. Never had problems with battery (it has a Odissey battery). I don't have any CHECK ENGINE light turned on, always looks good.

I checked the air hoses, loose connectors, checked the vane switch in the top of the gas pedal, not loose, everything looks good. I don't know here the TPS are located so I can't find/clean.

After that I checked the spark plugs (it has Iridium that dealer sold to me w/ the engine service) and I don't know if they look normal. Please see the picture attached and tell me if they are OK for the 100 miles or less that they have. Be aware that I like to drive my RZR hard.

I'm thiking to change to NGK CPR9EB-9 as Alba Nate suggest.

Need help to know if my plugs looks OK or I have some other engine/air/oil problems. I checked twice the oil and looks good, no oil burning/smoke.

Thanks in advance!

Those plugs don't look horrible. Seen darker. I would think they would look a little leaner with the double down kit installed though. Do you know who installed the HO kit? What engine temps are you seeing when it dies? Does it feel down on power when its acting up? It has an HO kit so hard to say if the valve lash was dialed in correctly when installed also.

H.O Kit was installed by the dealer. What can I do to not run lean?

About the tempererature the first time it dies in idle was 190, after that can be cold or hot and does the same, runs fine not noticable loss of power, problem is only sometimes when is at idle.

I cleaned throttle body, starts and doesn't turn off yet, I will do a little test it on Monday again to see if it are ok now.

Thank you roguedriver for your help. The RZR only dies when idle, no matter the temp, can be 190-195 or cold 80-90...

Checking all possible, I noticed that my kill switch has some issues, normally I leave all battery disconnected (by the kill switch), when I tried to put the switch in on position and tried to start the RZR goes dead (like no battery were connected), then I bypassed the kill switch and seems to be working fine on idle. I will take a short ride to see if that was the problem.. hope so!...

I will keep you updated!

Thanks =)
