How long are they? Did they get them out far enough to see around it good?

I had the same issue on my pro xp. Ended up selling it before I got anything done about it.

They work good, no additional vibration at all. I couldn't tell the mirrors were extended at all except for the better rearview visibility.

 

They seem to provide more visibility, but that was just adjusting them in the garage. I will let you know how well they do on the trail, after our Saturday ride.

I first made an extension from wood using a holesaw. I wanted to make sure that it didn't look goofy before spending time to make them in aluminum. I ended up making them just proud of 2-1/8" because the bolt is metric. At 2" the bolt bottoms-out inside the mirror housing before clamping tightly, didn't want to stack washers to make the bolt work.

I posted this link awhile back for body spacers for mine.

 

It costs more than $13 to build from aluminum.

 

I installed a set of those 2" body lift spacers on my mirrors and they are great. I have had no problems with them at all.

 

I think mine look better, but I suspect they both have the same functionality.

I have the same ones you posted in the link above. The guys doing the wrap pushed the passenger mirror out of the way in this picture but you can get the idea of how they look on the car.
