I've got a 2009 RZR and was wondering if anyone else noticed the underseat dry box is not very dry. Not talking about submerging here, just normal rain and washing. It has a nice rubber gasket, but doesn't seal worth a crap:sad:. I've got dry boxes for the back, but it would be nice if this one worked. Anybody made modifications? See attached photo for what I mean.

Yep its a well known problem.. Was brought up in a thread just the other day.. There is a company that sells a box that fits down into the stock box.. Its suppose to be waterproof. But its like 60 bucks.. I think is made by Moose. I've never seen one in person so I can't really say if it works or not.. I've thought about getting it but just can't see paying 60 bucks for such a small plastic box..

Hey OB, you're in the same boat as the rest of us.....that box blocks out water about as good as a screen door. Stuff stays more dry under the hood than it does in that box. I never really looked where it was coming in, I just assumed it was that plastic plug on the bottom not being a great seal because we're in the deep stuff alot. Mine was over half full the first time I popped the top off it. I now carry a trunk locker in the bed of mine and it works great.

I just opened up the drain port and store stuff in there that can get wet, like tire repair kit and some tools

Polaris has a fix for it, but unfortunately it has a 2011 model attached to it.

Quite the pisser Polaris doesn't bother fixing the crap they sell us, just fix it on their next model (maybe). :rm_thumbdown:
