Hey Guys, in the market to buy a new rzr turbo. Don’t want to spend 20K+ on a rzr and they completely change the model in 2020. Think they will be changing anymore the model ?

What kind of discount do you guys get from you’re dealer on MSRP pricing ?

Does the 2019 XP turbo haves the same lower cage as the turbo S ?

Is it possible to add the rear center brake light and the 2 front light fins on the XP ?

Is an extended warranty worth it ?

Thanks !

Extended warrenty not worth it IMO if you plan to do much aftermarket upgrades. Who can say for 2020...in my experience I’d say just buy the thing now and sell it later to upgrade if you really want it that bad. They hold value surprisingly well if you garage it and maintenance it well (like it should be).
I would think twice about buying a first year model anyhow. Cheers!

This has all been discussed ad nauseam, but my take is if you’re gonna buy now get a screaming deal on an ‘18 cause it’s the same machine as the ‘19 minus some aesthetics and different guages/dash. Either that, or wait til the ‘20s come out cause I suspect a ground-up redesign. If money is no concern and you’ve got a hard-on for the ‘19 and can’t wait, then get it.

Best deal is probably Abernathy and then go from there.

I bought the 4-year extended for $900. I just don’t have the time to deal personally with electrical gremlins and engine/gearcase rebuilds, so it was worth it to me.

Not sure about the other questions you asked.

I have a 2017 XP2T with some suspension and a stage 3 tune that I am satisfied with at the moment. I wasn't really to enthused about the Turbo S reveal because there were no horsepower improvements. But after driving my buddy's stock S(other than Skat sand tires) in the dunes last weekend, I am now a little less satisfied with my current car. if you want that next level of performance, just go straight to the S. If you don't want that wide of a car, then at least get the dynamix suspension. When it comes to cornering and jumping it does what no amount of valving or springing could ever do on 'dumb' shocks. I was literally blown away by it on my buddy's S.
As for me, I think I will finish out this dune season on mine. But if PoPo comes out with a new, 3 cylinder, 200hp power system for 2020, the big question will be, do I want to be a first year guinea pig, or try to get a killer deal on a 2019 closeout model???

Short answer. No ones knows what 2020 models will bring if your looking for any "insider" information. The few that might know anything would not give that info out.

sorry if you got upset lol, but it is true. He is a friend of my family since many years and he is the #1 selling dealership in Mexico, he has that information, as i told you polaris send the info about the 223hp engine. i will try to take a picture or get more info about it but i am not kiding.

if you don't believe just remember who you listened from.

I have a turbo s and a xpt 17 both two seater.

The discounts very from dealer to dealer, but I believe 3500 +/- 500 off is the norm for the Turbo S model from Abernathy. I'm not sure about the center light question off hand. Yes, the extended warranty is worth it!

A unit will always be easier to sell with a warranty from my experience, and some companies offer surcharges for those who like to upgrade. Those who keep up with the YXZ know about the available GYTR turbo kit. When paying the surcharge and allowing the dealer to install the turbo kit it's fully covered.

My 2019 Turbo 4 has a power to weight ratio of 0.099 and is really fast
My 1973 Hurst Olds with a built 455 has a power to weight ratio of 0.127 and is scary fast.
My 2012 Super Duty has a power to weight of 0.056 and it has crazy torque.

I'm very happy with 0.099

2020

Ground or tire up new platform

220 plus hp

no more cvt on this model

35 to 38 grand

Of course all other models will have a cvt, but the "flagship" in search of another word will be an actual transmission.

No I don't have photos, or a spec sheet. Nor am I a troll so save your attacks

But you bet your a$$ you can say you heard it from me first.

Knowing this I would still buy a 19' turbo or a 19' S, or for sure wait until the "bugs" of the first year are worked out. Or wait till the masses unload their 17's, 18's and 19's.

Enough insiders know this info, but for obvious reasons can't post it. I could care less about legal issues posting it. 2020, MAGA

Heard the current models.. 18 or 19+ have larger belts.. As a certified Polaris belt technician/changer .. I'll take that title after 16 belts and a full kit to change them.. plus always 2 on the cage, it is the ONLY weak point in the vehicle IMO. I actually have recently burned 2 out in the dirt, but I suspect they were worn from being in the sand or not the 'correct' best belt.

Anyhow, having a cooling fan installed. I got lucky and picked up my Razor for a song and I don't REALLy feel like dumping $40k-$50k to have all the necessary extra's.. instead I'm getting a new TH.

I'm gonna .. sit n' wait.. maybe I'll buy a 2020 off of one of y'all for cheap in 2022.. ..

;-P
