RZR 3D CAD files

Hi everyone, I am looking for a 3D cad file of a 2008-9 RZR 800 roll cage. Or a 2D dimension drawing of the same. I am designing a new cage and want to model my final ideas and need the stock dimensions to start planning in-depth.

I read/replied to several older posts of users that have had models floating around but no responses. So I'm pretty sure they do exist!

Aaaand now that I finally figured out how to post a new thread, I thought I'd create one for CAD files specifically.

If anyone does have a model, can you please email to me, I would greatly appreciate it!

I did find some models on another CAD file site here but not sure how accurate they are:

Rzr 3D Models and Textures | TurboSquid.com

I also use this CAD file sharing site for other models that you can upload any files to, if you're willing to share them:

Cloud based PDM for managing and sharing CAD - GrabCAD

If anyone has other files besides the 800 roll cage, feel free to post! I'd like this thread to be for every model / any CAD files.

Thanks!

Nope.... Nothing, sorry. I'm still looking whenever I think about it though! And if I do find anything I'll for sure post them to here.

Hah wow, I completely forgot about this thread. Unfortunately no, I stopped looking a few months after this last post... Nothing 3D other than what links are above. I went ahead and built the cage & bed by sketching it out with trial and error. I thought about grabbing dimensions of the hard points and mounts to build a CAD mockup myself but the RZR was rolled a (few) times so nothing was "stock" dimensions.

Yes, good luck in finding 3D Cad models. Now days manufacturers such as Polaris, or any other mfg have 3D cad models of their products, as that is how everything is built now, but getting them from the mfg is extremely hard. I sell machine tools (cnc lathes, mills, etc) If a customer wants a 3D cad of their cnc machine we require them to sign a waiver, plus they cost about $2,000 to get it. It would be nice though ! I built a front bumper for my 2019 but had to measure the bolt hole spacing in order to make the front plate. I am sure they have their CAD models at Polaris, but probably don't give them out.
Good luck in your search. If you do get one please share, as I will do.
