I checked with Discount Tire, dismount, rotating and remounting is only $32. That works for me. I have an appointment this weekend.

 

I still don’t understand why every 4x4 ATV/UTV doesn’t come with a “square” wheel and tire setup.

 

Do you have a jack? It will probably take more time to drive over to discount tire and back then to jack the rear up and swap and jack the front up and swap and it saves you $32.

 

The rotation with different size and offset wheels means the tires have to be dismounted and swapped front to rear, not the whole wheel/tire assembly. It can be done at home but it's not much fun without a tire changer.

 

I find deals on take offs and swap them myself.
Rotating the tires will just mean you'll be replacing 4 tires sooner than just the rears.
My fronts still look new after replacing the rears once

 

Can you borrow or use someone's jack? I recently rotated my tires by taking my RZR and my jack over to my father's house and used his jack to raise the front and my jack to raise the back. Took about 30mins to swap the 4 (no tire mounting, already had same rim on all 4 corners).



After rotating my tires I noticed this as well, if you're going to just keep the same tire and brand, I would weigh the costs and benefits to only replacing the back tires when needed, the front tires last forever.

 

Idk getting some aftermarket wheels would probably be easier than doing it every single time you wanted to "rotate them" then you can do it whenever you want and do the same once your tires wear out.
If you do beadlock's then that is easier to do at home when it comes time to switch out tires, and you get the added bonus of having a beadlock on the trail.

 

OK please correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the rear rims wider than the front rims? Would swapping the wheels cause issues with steering etc?
