Replacing Secondary Clutch- Balancing?

Looking for some help as my local dealer has been less than knowledgable. I am replacing the entire secondary clutch on my 2020 Pro XP 4 with new OEM and it can only be ordered in two parts, the moveable sheave and the stationary sheave separately. There is not a way to order them as a single part number. Do I need to somehow balance the two sheaves with each other during install? The Polaris service manual talks about marking both sheaves when you remove a secondary to keep them in balance, but I can't find anything about balancing a brand new secondary. Thank you!

I think his point is they are two separate part numbers, and not balanced together as an assembly. The confusion is why would the manual say you need to mark them, if they are individually balanced. I unfortunately don't know the answer, just trying to clarify.

Primary’s have “x” on them to line them up for “balancing”. even the new style clutch doesn’t have a key on the spline to align the two halves so imo they’re not too worried about balancing. Secondary’s don’t have the “balancing” the primary does. New secondary clutch I wouldnt worry about it. Marking the used secondary I see being more important just because of all the parts wearing together. But isnt really an issue say when you’re installing a clutch kit because you’re putting new parts in. Just a better safe than maybe sorry theory on marking the secondary 🤷‍♂️

and how good are popo clutches really balanced anyway seeming the outstanding reputation for quality that popo has lol. And then you’ve got one clutch company saying it’s ok to dremel the inside of the primary to fit a spring that doesn’t really fit in it so how concerned are they about balancing?
