Rear hitch question

Hi-I have a ‘22 XP 1000-4, no mods other than lights, windshields, etc. I was getting ready to mount a rear hitch receiver and noticed theres a grain plug that sits just ahead of where the hitch receiver will live. I’m assuming this is the fill/drain for the rear diff. The plug is not in the center of the hitch. Will this interfere with fluid changes?
I have the capabilities to move the centerline if the receiver to the centerline of the drain plug but don’t know if it’s necessary if not. Anyone ran into this issue yet?
Thanks for your time.

Mine is off center too but I can still get fill plug out and fill trans
I takes a steady hand and a bit of finesse to thread it back in without cross threading
Thought of opening up the hole but it works for now

Or get a long ball head allen socket and that makes it easier to get it off to the side to get it in straight.

Also when you go to change your fluid if you buy the gallon jug and put one of these pumps on the gallon it makes it SO much easier to get the fluid back in without spilling a bunch. The little clip on the end holds it in the transmission and then you just pump and watch for it to start flowing out.

The Thunderhawk Double-Shear RZR HItch has an opening large enough for easy service. Plus, you get the strongest hitch available and also strengthen the radius rod mounts!

Note: This picture is on an RS-1, but the hitch design and fill-plug access is the same on 2014-2023 RZR XP1000 and XP Turbo.

I have a thunderhawk Hitch as well. Definitely well built, and not sloppy loose like you get from Amazon. Be careful on the bolts that bolt to the bottom of the frame under the radius rod bolts. an impact will break them right off.
