Putting RzR up on blocks?

Ok I feel kinda stupid for asking this... but what is the best way to get the RzR (mines an XP1K) off all 4 wheels so I can pull the shocks?

I know everyone is going to say Jackstands, but my jack stands don't seem nearly tall enough. Do I need to special high lift stands? Or is everyone buying 8x8's and having them chopped up, then sticking them under their jack stands?

I have a standard Craftsdman 3 ton jack and 2 jack stands, so If I need to buy 2 more I want to get the right thing.

Also, are you guys removing your full skid plates before using the jack stands? If not, then where are you placing the jack stands to hold up the frame?

when you jack it up and take the wheels off, remove the shocks and put the jack stands under the frame (take the skid off if you feel more comfortable) Don't put the wheels back on the car,, as you lower it down on the jack stands, the arms will just raise up and sit there,, (be gentle and maybe put rolled up cardboard or similar down to cusion the rotors) there will be practically no weight on the rotors themselves,, and like you said,,

"I guess I would Jack up the front, remove the shocks then lower onto the jackstands (Stands are not tall enough to actually leave it anywhere near the jacked up height?). I would need to then jack it up again to re-install the shocks"

Or,, measure the length of the shocks as it sits normal,, get some 1" bar stock and cut into pieces the length of the shocks (compressed on the car) drill hole in each end and substitute the bar for the shock at each corner,, this way you could still drive it around if you need to move it

^^ I think there is a company out there that actually make "Prop Rods" that mount in the factory locations for this exact purpose. I just cant remember who lol.
Thanks

When I did mine
I jacked up the rear removed my shocks then put my jack stands where the trailing arms meet the frame then moved to the front and left my car on the jack, just don't lean on back of the car as it'll pivot on the stands in that location ,
