Depending on what bar you bought, the brackets may or may not work. If they are not a clamp type bracket then you will have to buy different mounts. There are lots of vendors here on the forum that offer many different styles of mounts. I would recommend checking out the vendors and finding which mount will work best for you. Good Luck.

Light bar clamps 30"

 

I bought the SuperATV light bar and had to make my own bracket as the SuperATV light bar is 32"s long.

 

OSP mounts work great if you want to mount it under the visor.

 

Not to hijack the thread, but I have the Polaris fold down windshield. It has a plastic guide for the wind screen that goes up the entire length of the roll cage. Where would be the next best solution for mounting a light bar. I also have the Polaris poly roof so I was thinking that's my only other option.

 

Might be. May need to re-inforce it though. That's where I was going to put mine.

 

I thought the light bars come with the brackets. I got my in Amazon and got this:
