The XC model in extra wide would be my choice. I had the GT model in extra wide and they were ok but I didn't like the tall side bolster on the bottom.

 

I thought the XC's looked like the way to go . I can't run extra wide in an rs1

 

Where are you located? We can recommend some dealers that are close by and might have display seats. We definitely recommend sitting in a few seats beforehand if you get the chance.

Also check out the RS Seat. It's been a favorite for big guys before. The RS has tapered off sides that lay flat towards the front and allow your legs to run over the sides easier (compared to the XC which still has small side bolsters that hold your legs in). So the RS still 'feels' like a wider seat, but can fit into the narrow RS1 cab.

I am 6'3" and 240. I run the XC Wide body seats and love them. Really comfortable.

PRP seats are great. Love mine. The XC Suspension Seat looks really nice. I like the low sides for easy in and out.

I have the GT/SE wide body in my RZR and love them. I am 6' 275# so I am kinda fluffy. :big-grin

I like the Gt seats because they hold you in while riding but if I could have sat in the XC before I ordered I might have went that route. Wife and I had sat in the GT seats before so we knew they fit us.

The only dealer I know that would have seats on hand is SidebySide Stuff. They're located closer to Kansas City though. You can give them a call and see if they have an RS in stock.

 

I've been looking at seats for a long time but dont want to sink the money without trying them out first but I have never found a place around home that has them, would anyone know somewhere around northwest georgia or around the Atlanta are that has prp seats in stock?

I run a seat that in my opinion is perfect for my RS1 — The Simpson Pro. It”s 2” wider than the Vortex and is fully adjustable — Both forward/backward as well as left/right. I also run door bags and the seat fits like a glove. I also went with custom colors/fabrics/stitching as well as embroidering. I also have the adjustable lumbar and twin heat. Simpson also has the correct tapered seat mounting rails. My view — Good Luck!
