Primary sticking

2014 1000XP OEM primary that was rebuilt about a year ago. Primary is sticking. One weight is stuck, others are free. I’m worried about the bolt sticking out of primary. I may try replacing primary, but worried it won’t be as simple as pulling bolt and using clutch puller with that much bolt sticking out. OR, Does it do that when compressed?

It's pretty easy to tell bushings, if the OP removes the belt and the bolts off the clutch cover & spring. Cycle the spider, movable sheave assembly checking for binding Additionally- bushing wobble can be verified on the cover, with the spring out and bolts removed, and all done without popping the clutch off .
I do prefer however, popping the clutch off- removing the spider and checking clearances on the movable sheave.
