I have a friend who is a dealer for these. He has sold them for a couple of years and has had good luck with them. It is too small for anyone over 6 foot IMO. The 5 speed with no low range is also a killer for me. He put a turbo kit on his for under $2000 and is getting 178 hp out of it. It is fast. Plus it can be registered to be road legal here and can be driven on all of our roads.

This thread is very very humorous, I have owned a Oreion reeper for 4 years. I am 6 ft tall and and Love it. Yes mine is Licensed like your car or pickup and it goes 60 miles/hour if you want too. Yes the engine, Transmission and sheet metal are Chinese, so what! Oreion is a live and well in New Mexico. They moved into a 85,000 sq ft building they purchased a year ago. They had to expand due to demand for the product. Assembly is done by jig and everything is spot welded instead of the China mig welded shit. They have to paint booths that hold 4 reepers at a time, owners are very particular concerning paint.
The Reeper epic and sport model are now 4 cyl Chery's, very few units now are made with the 60 HP 3 cyl.
I have taken ours to 28 states and never been hassled about on road use. We just got back from Pismo beach and Glamis with ours, had a ball. Been off road in Arizona Utah and many other states and I use it like a RZR all the time. The difference is I can go to town in it and you can't.

Looking to buy! The 2014 Reeper. Already checked it out. Looks like very well manufactured parts! Question is street legalness. Has Texas plates currently but owner hadn’t renewed since 2018. Transferring and registering and getting “street legal” Texas license plate is my intention. I guess nervous about the “inspection and re-registering.

deff not a real off road machine as the rzr they sell the hell out of them in here in Southern WV, pretty neat little units,
Oh yes they are.... the Oreion Reeper, Reeper4, and Apex, are definitely off-road and road vehicles.... we purchased a 2016 1100cc Reeper4 so we could take the great-grandchildren with us once in a while.... we use this unit almost daily around town and in the mountains, and dunes near by.... haven't had a problem with it yet.... purchased with 325 miles on it, and it does everything that we like doing.... climbing mountain trails, blasting the dunes, moving trailers around the ranch, and we would not pay the price for a RZR, can-am, Yamaha (I like all of Yamaha's dirt toys), Honda, or any of the "big name" units, until you try one of these units.... they come street legal from the factory.... the others don't, you have to pay extra for that.... I've been playing with dirt toys since about 1970, dirt bikes, quads, and now a side x side.... I always keep up our toys and I haven't had to do much to our Reeper4.... I can't say that about our friends who have the other "name brand" units, they're always fixing theirs, and all we've done is add the things that we want our side x side to have (led lights, better stereo system, etc., etc.).... take care of them and they'll probably last forever....
