Oil in airbox? O_o?

So I was reading that the factory air cleaner/air box setup isnt all that great and decided I would go check mine that I just got 2 days ago. When I loosened the bottom clamp oil came pouring out. My heart instantly sank. I loosened the other 2 and pulled off the cap and a little more oil came out. I would say almost a 1/8th a quart. So I pulled my air cleaner off and the bottom is moist with oil as well. Cleaned the cap and the air box, which was very very nasty. The I went to wipe the inside hole that goes to the throttle body, and there was absolutely nothing in there. The paper towel came out spotless.

I reached in as far as I could wiping around and I couldnt get anything to come out. There was a little bit of red grease, which Im assuming is filter oil. I tried to find somewhere to check oil and couldnt find a dipstick to see if I was low. So my 2 questions are, where did all this oil come from?! And is there a oil level check somewhere I overlooked. I know there is almost always blowby in a air cleaner assembly, but this seems amazingly excessive.

check oil behind passenger seat, and a little oil is normal. if your rzr is not new, you may be due for a top-end. blow-by causes excessive pressure in the crankcase, which causes oil to go into the air intake.
