SO I am new to this forum and to Razor-life in general, having just purchased my first - a 2018 900 S.

I bought an LED light bar through Walmart.com which is an Arsenal Offroad Brand 32". I managed to get the bar installed, now working with the wiring. Lack of decent installation instructions is not helping. If I connect the wires (there are two red and two black with terminal ends on them) direct to the battery I get it to light up. Tried connecting to the bus under the front hood but not getting anything.

Also, the rocker switch does not seem to have anything to hold it in place once I cut the hole in the dash and install - plus there is no template for the hole so I guess I will trace it out and cut it. Anyone have any experience with this light bar or doing an installation like this with little/no install instructions? I am fairly good with tools/mechanical but just not familiar with the Polaris.

Thanks!

You may have to install a wire harness from the battery to the bus bar in order to get power at the bus bar. If you install a Polaris winch (or possibly other winch kits) the kit comes with a wiring harness to get power to the bus bar.

You can get switches that will go into the dash cutouts. You may have to rewire the relay for your light bar so that it only will come on with the key in the on position.

There should be a accessory terminal on the bus bar that energizes with the ignition. If you look the back side of the dash panel, you will see the cut-outs, I used a sharp razor knife to pierce and cut the plastic and your new switch should just snap in. Also check all the connections from the factory. Mine all worked loose and needed to be changed to better connectors.

Fred,
Does your terminal block have wire run from the battery?

I usually buy the RZR OEM Light Bar Harness. It's a bit pricey but is set up for your RZR.

Drill out the corners of the switch cutout and use a heated utility knife to cut the plastic. Start small and use a file to complete the opening. You don't want a sloppy hole!

Thanks everyone! I took off the dash panel and cut out the hole for the switch and after some trimming and filing got it to fit in place.

Connection at the bus bar will work when switch is in Accessory. Just need the terminal ends for the wires to connect to bys bar and I am done.

Thanks for your help - will post a picture once I get the wires on for good!
