Ok... where do I get this Odyssey 925L Battery? Then what keeps it changed? And my search must not be working right or I don't know how to use it, every time i search for something it brings back all kinds of results or nothing at all.

Also, after you get through installing the auxillary-battery, get a Battery-Tender Jr. from Amazon, or your local auto-parts store. When you're not riding your RZR, keep it plugged into the Battery-Tender; it'll keep your battery's charged and ready-to-go. My two-bits......

Cheers

Here is a dual battery thread: http://www.rzrforums.net/lighting-stereo-electrical/73534-dual-battery-installation.html

There are a bunch of other threads if you need more info. Just did the dual battery set-up in mine last weekend. Not very complicated. Still running some of the wires for the accessories. Make sure you get an isolator so your aux battery doesn't drain down your starting battery. I got a Blu-Seas isolator, Blu-Seas fuse block for the accessories, Odeyssey 925L all from Amazon. Amazon Prime is awesome... no shipping costs and it is there in 2 days.

OMG... the Isolator is like $299! By the time i buy everything that's $500! Why can't i just buy a better stronger battery?

The one I bought was only about $80 on Amazon. Blue Sea Systems Solenoid SI Series (120A 12/24V ACR) : Amazon.com : Sports & Outdoors

More info on it on the Blue Sea site: SI-ACR Automatic Charging Relay - 12/24V DC 120A - Blue Sea Systems

Article on how it works: Battery Isolators and Automatic Charging Relays - Blue Sea Systems

You could use one battery, but then there is a chance you could run it down and not be able to start. If you seperate them, you will always keep you starting battery charged. Some people do choose to go with the 1 Optima battery, but they have to modify there battery box.

There are several dual battery kits out there, I ended up getting a Warn Dual battery kit that came will all the additional cables, isolator, battery box and quite frankly a ton of other stuff. I paid next to nothing for it because of some reward points, otherwise I would of just purchased an isolator and got everything else I needed locally. I do like that is comes ready to be installed and I dont have make 20 trips getting everything.

Keep in mind, not all battery isolators are created equal. Most merely close a set of contacts between the Main and Aux battery, and provide no control over voltage and charging conditions (meaning both batteries can discharge together if the isolator contacts are held closed and the system is not sufficiently charging). The AOPEK battery isolator will separate the two systems if the charging system voltage drops below 12.7V. As long as your Main battery is on the charging side of the isolator, you will never run the risk of over-discharging your main battery.
