well, i looked all over the frame and came up with nothing. it is an 08 machine, and i looked on this forum and found a pdf manual for an 08 rzr. it showed as clear as anything that it should be behind the left front tire stamped into the frame rail. or on a sticker on the frame rail in front of the left rear wheel. No stickers on the frame anywhere and the stamped number is not there either...... i can see that the stickers may get blown off by a pressure washer, but the stamped numbers in the frame are not there!!!!! i did buy it used from a dealer so i dont know what happened, but there is no chance of someone grinding them off, thats for sure.... the paint in that area is factory with no grinding marks, file marks or scrathes at all.

well, i didnt think so, but i am begining to think that it has maybe. I bought it from a dealer in used condition and never questioned it. it only had 30 hours on it. I am sure they would not have wanted to tell me if it had, but they should have!! i just pulled the whole front clip off, fenders, grill and roll bar and found nothing at all, besides a factory part number and serial number, just the same as all the body panels and such have on them. i have looked every where!! guess i wll have to call the dealer in the morning and see what they can do. They sold it to me with a registration and the vin is on the reciept, now i just gotta see where they pulled the number from, the only problem is going to be logistics, the dealer is about eight hours away!!! Thanks for everyones help. i will keep you updated

well i got it figured out, the frame was changed by the dealer within the first ten miles that the prevoius owner had the rzr. i spoke to the dealer and they called polaris and they were directed to engrave or stamp the frame when they do a frame swap, they just nevr did it or forgot to do it. No big deal after all. Thanks for everyones help tho.
