MY20 vs 21 ProXP Ultimate differences

My dealer has a new 2020 ProXP Ultimate coming in from Polaris. Says it was from some dealer's inventory and not assembled. I'm considering buying it (actually put a deposit down on it).

I've searched the forums and I'm not finding a thread on the differences between the two model years (other than colors).

-Any concerns with the 2020?
-Anyone have a list of the actual differences? I'm sure there were some changed beyond colors.

Thanks!

I had read this over the weekend, but convinced myself that the changes were from the XP to the ProXP. If there are these many differences from the '20, I may hold out for a '21. Kind of a bummer because many of these changes are a big deal and my dealer say the only differences were colors.

The 2021 RZR Pro XP line was completely new for 2020 and receives extensive upgrades for 2021.
1)New wheels are 18 percent lighter improve acceleration and suspension performance.
2)Updated rear tender springs last longer and improve suspension performance.
3)Improved clutch alignment reduces shift effort.
4)Door latch bumper updates prevent doors from rattling.
5)The Rockford Fosgate® audio system has 2.5-times greater volume output, better bass tune and better sound quality at higher volumes, amplifying the soundtrack to RZR adventures.
6)Improved Ride Command, introduces configurable gauges and the new Follow Mode function on Group Ride. By selecting the leader of a ride group, this new feature allows riders to leave a track on the map that can be followed by others.
7)The Pro XP Premium trim now comes with Ride Command with integrated 7-inch touch display and Rockford Fosgate® audio.
8)Material used for the engine intake is now blow molded, resulting in improved durability at higher temperatures, increasing the ability to go full throttle longer.
9)Improved rear shock guards now feature sides that index to the shock to help avoid rotation.
10)20 additional accessories are available for Pro XP models, including the RIGID® Chase Light with eleven selectable modes and new doors and windshields for more cab options to boost rider comfort.

1. Most people change wheels. Around here anyway
2. I assume these are the updated ones from the 2020 year that still sag
3. Shimming a clutch is easy
4. My doors close fine and don’t rattle at all on my 2020
5. Any custom built audio is going to work better than the factory stuff
6-7. I don’t have ride command so no input
8. I guess some guys have had their intake pipe collapse. Good update.
9. Who cares? It’s not a big deal
10. Those accessories fit on all year. models.

If you get a better deal on the 2020 take it. Your going to do the springs on your own later anyway. Door latch is nothing to fix IF thats even an issue on that machine (its not on mine). All the Ride command improvements are just updates to the 2020 so no worries there. Air intake tube will cost you $120 to replace. So in the end its kinda all just about the deal you can get on the 2020 compared to the 2021.

I'm getting $1600 off MSRP on the '20, which isn't significant enough for me. I found a '21 at $500 off MSRP, My buddy bought a '21 just before xmas and got $1500 off MSRP, but that is not the case now. In MN demand is outrunning supply, so there are not many deals to be had currently.

I picked up my 21 PXP ultimate for 2500 under MSRP. The 21 is worth it if you find the right deal
Amazing deal! They don't have to offer that in MN. They can't keep the PXP on the shelves around here! People are paying close to MSRP and still waiting 10-12 weeks to get their machine. Crazy!
